Credit Recognition for Mutually Recognized Courses
(Article 34 of the curriculum management chart)
- If an undergraduate student completes a mutually recognized course in the graduate program (courses in the 500’s) the credit may be recognized for either the undergraduate or graduate curriculum. With the exception being if the student needs this credit to satisfy minimal graduation requirements, the credit will not be mutually recognized.
- The undergraduate student must request credit recognition within the first year of being admitted into the graduate program for the credits earned (only for mutually recognized courses in the graduate program) during their undergraduate career.
- Application Period: Within the first year of being admitted into the master program
- Procedure: Student personally applies→ recommendation from the advising professor and teacher from the relevant institution, and approval by the department head→ submit to the Academic Registrars Team → approval of credit recognition.
