On October 10, our department's Master's student Reem Alnuaimi (Advisor: Professor Yonghee Kim)

was awarded the following at the closing ceremony of the Space Research Conference hosted by the UAE Space Agency.

The conference selected papers with outstanding research in each field and awarded one Best Research Paper and three Outstanding Research Papers.

The paper "Conceptual Nuclear Design of Innovative Liquid-HALEU Loaded Thermal Propulsion Reactor" submitted by our department's student Reem Alnuaimi
was awarded the Excellence Award in the Access to Space and Sustainability category.
