KAIST-NQe NEXGEN (Next Generation Nuclear Engineer)
Summer Camp 2016 Application Guidelines
This summer, KAIST NQE is offering a new international educational program,
called Next Generation Nuclear Engineer (NEXGEN) Summer Camp. It will be an
exciting opportunity for international students in nuclear engineering to learn
about nuclear energy development in Korea and to network with peer students
from various countries and continents, such as USA, UK, France, Italy, Germany,
Sweden, China, Japan, Korea, etc.
The participating students will be engaged in Student Design Competition
related to nuclear energy and radiation engineering (for a cash prize). The
NEXGEN Summer Camp will also provide an opportunity for the students to
experience Korean culture and hospitality.

■ Cash prize: 1st place: $2,000; 2nd place: $1,500;
3rd place: $1,000;

■ Field Trip includes visits to nuclear power plant, Doosan Heavy industries, Korean national research
infrastructure as well as cultural tours. |
