Taewon Lee, in collaboration with Jiseoc Lee, a Ph.D. candidate in Medical Imaging & Radiotherapeutics Lab. Under the supervision of Prof. Seungryong Cho, won the silver prize in Bio-engineering and Life Science field at the 22nd Samsung HumanTech Paper Competetion in Feb. 3, 2016. His paper was titled “Compressive-sensing inspired low-dose energy CT imaging“. His research successfully demonstrated feasibility of a novel low-dose CT scanning approach implemented in a diagnostic CT system for the first time.
