The president of KAIST, Nam-Pyo Suh, visited the Tesla Lab (Mobile Power Electronics Lab, Professor Chun-Taek Rim) of the Dept. of NQe today morning (Dec. 2, 2010). The developed technologies of a new I-type IPTS (Inductive Power Transfer System), a stationary IPTS charger for EV (Electric Vehicle),and an IPTS for railroad were demonstrated. The president highly evaluated the technologies as well as the efforts of researchers of the lab. Moreover, he suggested several brilliant idea to solve the heat dissipation and sealing of the IPTS modules. The demonstration lasted for an hour.
