[News] Dr. Seongmin Son, Appointment of Assistant Professor at Kyungpook Univ.

Dr. Seongmin Son (Advisor: Jeong Ik Lee), a graduate of the Nuclear Power and Propulsion Laboratory of the Department of Nuclear and Quantum Engineering at KAIST, was appointed as an assistant professor in the Department of Smart Plant Engineering at Kyungpook University in March 2023. Dr. Seongmin Son got his doctoral degree from KAIST in Feb. 2021 and worked for about 2 years as a researcher at RIST (Research Institute of Industrial Science and Technology) Hydrogen & Low-carbon research laboratory. His main fields of research are Supercritical CO2 power cycle, Non-Electric Application of Nuclear Heat (NEANH), Digital twin and predictive maintenance technology for SMRs, and he plans to conduct research on above fields.
