Hello, I am Seonggyu Choi, a PhD student in Radiochemisty and Laser Spectroscopy Lab of KAIST. My research interests lie primarily in investigation of basic chemical properties of various organic and inorganic compounds of uranium, which is essentially required to develop advanced engineering technologies for the back-end nuclear fuel cycle. It is great honor to win an award of excellent paper at Korean Radioactive Waste Society (Research Title: Spectroscopic and Thermochemical Investigation of U(VI)-Aromatic Carboxylate Precipitates in an Aqueous Solution). All thanks to the Prof. Jong-Il Yun and administrative office of the department.
