Mr. Muhmood ul Hassan, Ph.D. student, of the Nuclear Fuel Materials Laboratory (Professor Ho Jin Ryu) received the Best Presentation Paper Award at the Spring Meeting of the Korean Nuclear Society in Jeju on May 17, 2018. This paper titled "Optimization of Non-Conventional Sintering of Hydroxyapatite for Immobilization of Radioiodine" presented a new sintering method for iodine-containing ceramic waste form at a very low temperature at the KNS Fall Meeting in 2017.
