[News] Dr. Yongheum Jo, Appointment of Assistant Professor at Hanyang Univ.

Dr. Yongheum Jo (Advisor: Jong-Il Yun), a graduate of the Radiochemistry and Laser Spectroscopy Laboratory of the Department of Nuclear and Quantum Engineering at KAIST, was appointed as an assistant professor in the Department of Nuclear Engineering at Hanyang University in March 2023. Dr. Yongheum Jo got his doctoral degree from KAIST in August 2020 and worked for about 2 years as a postdoctoral researcher at KIT-INE (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology - Institute for Nuclear Waste Disposal, Germany), and for about 1 year as a senior researcher at KAERI (Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute). His main fields of research are radioactive waste disposal and radiochemistry, and he plans to conduct research on the entire back-end nuclear fuel cycle.
