Prof. Cho, Gyusung was appointed as director of KAIST Institute for IT Convergence. KAIST Institute for IT Convergence was founded for research of convergence technology based on IT field.

Prof. Cho has researched future devices, bio-medical care, and knowledge convergence as a professor of bio-medical field in Institute for IT Convergence. Prof. Cho has been credited with his research and he was appointed.

Prof. Cho served as a chair of Korea medical physics society and IEEE NSS-MIC. Now he is in charge of head of Radiation and Nuclear Medical Engineering Research center and chair of Korean Society of Radiation Industry.
